How this site is made.

This is a personal archive built to last, not a template. It is written as code so the content can outlive any single tool, and it is kept deliberately fast, quiet, and readable.

Craft

  • Built with Next.js and React, statically generated.
  • Content is authored as MDX and validated on every build.
  • Styled with a small set of design tokens, in a Paper and an Ink theme.
  • Search runs in the browser against an index built at compile time.

Type

  • Headlines are set in Fraunces.
  • Text is set in Inter.
  • Code and labels use JetBrains Mono.

Principles

  • Show the work; earn credibility through depth.
  • Respect the reader: no pop-ups, no dark patterns, no noise.
  • Own the important parts. Forms and email run on infrastructure that can be moved.
